Since no one else has made a post, I will attempt. Here are a few pictures from when Mom and Dad came to visit us last weekend. We were missing them so much. We had a blast! Hopefully they did too! They probably learned that Yakima is pretty boring!
When Mom and Dad first got here we showed Dad our townhome since he had never been here. We hung out for a little bit and then decided to go to Panda Express. After dinner, we headed over to Shane’s school and took them on a tour. Dad liked looking at the cadavers, Mom not so much.
The next day we woke up and watched conference until it was time to go to Brynlee’s soccer practice/game. After soccer, we took them to an orchard owned by one of Shane’s teachers because he gives students a sweet deal. We picked LOTS and LOTS (probably about 30-35lbs) of red delicious apples for Mom and Dad to take back to Grandma and Grandpa. Yup you guessed it, they forgot them! We watched conference the rest of the day and then Shane and Dad went to the priesthood session. After conference, our neighbors came over for dinner and we all ate Shane’s dutch oven experiment!
Sunday we watched some more conference and Mom did our hair for us. After conference we went for a drive to check out a waterfall! It was way pretty! Here are a few pics!
Sunday night Mom and Dad said their sad good-byes to the girls, since they would be sleeping when they left early Monday morning. I think it may have been harder than when we told them goodbye when we moved! We know it is a really long drive for them, but we were so glad they came!
